madness from work

As you can tell, I am going crazy.
So much work to be done at the office and so much more to be done for the wedding.
I don't know if my brains can handle this...

Pray for me.... Pray for Chris too... he's going crazy too... from his work, from our renovation, from me. Sigh...

And it doesn't help that our invitation card is so creative that the weight of it qualifies us in the upper tier of postage in Singapore. Instead of the regular 23cents stamp, according to the S.A.M. machine, we need to stick a 31 cents stamp on each envelope.

Excited for our honeymoon

I am now in “zen” mode…. No more fretting… peace.

Maybe it’s because we got quite a bit of things done. Or maybe I just can’t be bothered. But I am looking forward to our honeymoon at Koh Samui. Especially looking forward to Villa Nalinnadda! Yes, we got the room. Booked it! The top floor unit, giving us a 180 degrees view of the gorgeous turquoise clear sea and pure white sands of Samui beach. We’ll wake up to the sounds of waves sweeping to the shore and admire the sunset from the comfort of our bedroom. Ahhh… so lovely.

We’ll send the invitation cards out this weekend but tentage is still not confirmed. Sigh… but I got a few back ups already. Hopefully we’ll settle it by next week latest.
Oh we got loads of pink and brown ribbons last weekend too! So excited… Now gotta fix up the wires to the glass jars for décor.

villa nalinnadda-icantgetthenameright

Finally we are confirming the resort we will be booking for our honeymoon at Koh Samui.
After much discussion and deliberation, Chris made the call for us to book the top range of villa at Villa Nalinnadda (boy I can never get the name right!!) - the 180 degrees Seaview Villa. It's absolutely stunning and has more privacy than the Beach Front unit which is just as beautiful but very prone to serious dangers since it's so open and available on the ground floor. The 180 Degrees means... floor to ceiling windows covering the length of your left, right and front walls facing the sea. Ain't that amazing??? At an estimated S$320 per night, this is actually not as expensive as a lot of other bigger establishments. Though at such a price tag, I can never imagine myself in a place like this. We'll book this place by this week. Hope there is stil availability considering they only have 9 units, and only 2 of those 180 degrees Seaview Villas!

Stressed....stress...

Becoming a bride is S-T-R-E-S-S-F-U-L.

We seem to always encounter hiccups along the way of this planning process. The tentage problem has not been solved. We have not booked our tentage yet! But thank God cos I managed to find a whole list of tentage companies that I never heard of and hope they can give me a favourable quotation.

Please let this be settled!!! I don't even have time to correct the last post that is still missing the photo. If you want to know which picture that is, just see our wedding site (same photo). Speaking of which, I need to fix that picture cos the resolution is all messed up. We look distorted.

Tomorrow's program will start with morning brunch with a friend, then a mad rush to get color dyes for our sandalwood fans, and a trip to the ribbon shop to get ribbons in bulk. Then we head off to collect our fans at Chris' office and then we head straight to our yet-to-be-renovated home at Telok Blangah. We roll up our sleeves and dye 180 fans the entire day.

Thank God Cheryl is helping us tomorrow for 3 hours. Any other people who are willing to help please call us! We don't mind! :)
