last year before the big 3-0

today marks the first day of 365 days before i hit the big 3-0.

how does it feel like? ...nothing much really.

but i told chris that i would like a cake today. cos i think i will blow out the candles and that's it for me. no more cakes.

being twenty-something is nice. once you hit 30, you become old officially.

are we also losing steam from celebrating our birthdays? chris could not get me a gift and we ended up buying me a pair of spectacles last night.

it's 12.30pm now and i am still home in shorts and tee looking like a nightmare. chris just passed his class 2 licence and spent an entire morning there. i am here on my computer waiting for him. i have no idea what plans he has but i know we'll go to the beach, it's almost like a ritual. because we spend so little time at the beach now, we only go there on special occasions. sad huh.

i just got a text from chris that he needs to wait till 12.45pm to get his license. what a waste of time. what a day to get a licence. i am beginning to hate 29. i hate today.
