I learned that we cannot always insist it our way...

Today I saw the sky, it looked promising...

Then I opened up the Daily Bread booklet and my Bible and read today's lesson. The words seemed to speak to me... the message seems clear. The passage in the Bible was talking about The Vine & The Branches.."If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." The story told in today's Daily Bread was about how you have to trust God and let 'His will be done' not always pray for 'your will be done'. It was very meaningful and I could tell He spoke to me about this situation that I was in.

I know I have been insisting it on my way and I know I couldn't feel His closeness when I pray that. This morning, He has given us a blue sky. I thank Him for it but I don't know what is to come in the afternoon. I hope it will remain beautiful but if it doesn't and I have to go through the shoot, then I know He has a reason for this. Maybe I'll have some very cool pictures with a storm in the background.... erm... Not sure how likely that can be. But I'll have to leave it to Him.
